electronics was developed in 1896 when the vaccume tube was invented.that vaccume tube was used as amplifier and it was working on the passage of electrons through gas or vaccume. this tube had three electrodes (anod cathode and the control grid).so from here, the inventer(which was electrical engineer)named this new field as ELECTRONICS.later on in 1947 the solid state devices (diode and transisters were made, which were made of semi-conductors.
SO ELECTRONICS IS THE STUDY OF PASSAGE OF CHARGES THROUGH GAS OR VACCUMME OR SEMI-CONDUCTORS.WHILE
ELECTRICAL IS THE PASSAGE OF CHARGES THROUGH CONDUCTORS...

generally electrical instrument follows ohm's law while electronic device does not follow.
in electrical we use analog signal while in electronics we use digital signal.
| Is This Answer Correct ? | 0 Yes | 1 No |
Answer / rebeka
When we discuss them with respect to the type of signal, we
can say "electrical" instruments deal with 'Analog' signals
mostly defined by the equations of classical physics. They
certainly obey Ohm's Law. Term 'Electrical' is associated
with the typical conception of Electric Field(E) which
exerts electric Force(F) on a charge particle(q) and it
produces electricity, Where F=qE.
But 'Electronic' instruments are made to deal
with 'Digital' signals. Analog electrical signal is changed
to Digital signals ( 0, 1). They are semiconductors devices
which never obey Ohm's Law and implemented with logic
gates.

In Electrical system the current conduction is done with
help of only elctrons....but in Electronics system the
current conduction is done with the help of electrons
and/or holes both....
