steel & grade of concrete are inversionally proportional..
there fore if you increse size of coloum means you are increasing steel in coloum then you can decrease grade of concrete

now a days not using M15 grade concrete for columns even though if we are using M!5grade
here it is over size than (M20 grade)it will take excess material and time also except cement so 9"x9" with M20 grade is economical

Load Bearing capacity factor grade of concrete. If load is high grade of concrete must high with size and qty of steel.
