earth charges is zero and by connecting the neutral pole to earth you giving the reference zero to ensure the value zero to the neutral pole , other wise fluctuation would happen and voltage difference will be exist between neutral and earth which will effect the performance and safety issues it the load side

transformer nuetral is connected to earth to discharge the unbalanced current in the circuit.
Ct's secondary side also earthed to discharge secondary voltage and current to avoid flashing.

Neutral is connected to earth to make available everywhere in the earth . CT secondary is earthed to remove the presence of primary voltage in the secondary due to capacitance between primary and secondary
