Can u explain : what is supply for train (whether a,c or d.c ).I know that supply is 25000v a.c .But there is rumour that supply is D.C. I've descovered that when the earth wire in a domestic electrical installation is not connected back to the board (ground) a voltage of between 9-24v is is found to be present in the earth wire. When connected at the board there is no voltage - is this normal and why does it happen?

i seen a 132kv/11kv transformer,and thier is a sugar factorys 10MW EXPORT PLANT,MY QUESTION IS THAT WHEN THEY EXPORT ELECTRICITY THEY USE THE SAME TRANSFORMER AND THE CONNECT IT TO 132/11KV TRANSFORMERS SECONDARY SIDE CAN ANY ONE EXPLAIN IT..
