It can not be answered just like that i. e. question is incomplete. It depends on power factor. But for resistive loads both are same i. e; 1 KVA = 1 KW

PF=KW/KVA So KW=KVAxPF We want valve of KW so assume PF is 0.8 So KW=1X0.8 So answer is 0.8 Kw

kw rating depend upon the power factor i.e
if the power factor is unity 1 kva = 1 kw
if the power factor is 0.8 then 1 kva = kva x power factor.

No !! Totally not ...1 w =1v * 1 A * P.F
Volt ampere is not dependent on power factor its simply the refference rating . but when we come to watt its the actual rating in which we should also know that what the load is actually consuming.
