RTD Sensor can't be calibrate , you can only calibrate the transmitter only by potentiometer according to PT100, PT1000, ...... table.
or you can use comparison calibration.

An RTD is 'calibrated' by heating or cooling it to various
temperatures, measuring its resistance at those
temperatures, and the recording and analyzing the measurment
results.
An RTD's performance can not be adjusted like a temperature
transmitter's output can be adjusted, but its performance
can indeed be measured in a periodic calibration.

An RTD is 'calibrated' with the help of Temp. bath by selecting required temprature. You can compare RTD resistance, RTD Chart accordind to type RTD. There is no adjustment in RTD.
Before installation RTD in field this checking is must.

Calibration of rtd is not possible , yeah just know about error is possible when other rtd same type using in same place ..

Why use ball valves on Gas pipelines instead of gate & or globe valves...means basic diffrence or use of these valves..how designers knows this type of valve with rating is required...
