HOW DOES SPECIFIC GRAVITY AFFECT LEVEL MEASUREMENT.

Well, Level is represented as function of pressure (P) and
pressure is function of height and S.G as basic level
measurement. So, The Formula for Pressure is P=S.G*H.
However, Each liquid has it's won unique S.G such as Oil
vs. Water, 0.6 and 1 Respectively.
Based on above, we do see clear impact to level measurement
when S.G changed. SG has direct impact to level measurement
in case of Differential pressure measurement type is used
or displacer type. Other type of level measurement will
have no impact such as Rader , Capacitance etc.
has no impact to level measurments.

Level measurement formula is
(ยง.g.h) roh.g.h.
specific gravity is varies.
It's depends upon process parameter.
For eg. Steam water gravity is different.
