For 800A We Can Use 2R X 3.5CX300Sqmm.Al.Ar Cale But As Per
T.N.E.B We Should Use 3RX3.5CX 400Sq.mm Al.Ar.Cable.
Consider 1 Amp=1Sqmm For Aluminum Cable For Safety And
Starting Current We have to Consider 1.5 Times the Rated
Current that means 800*1.5=1200A

There is lot things we have an eye for choosing the cable selection for higher load.
Cable is of two types - copper and aluminium.
For aluminium cable at 800 amps load
We need to lay about 2Rx 400 square.mm Al. AR. Cable is enough ,more than we have an eye for how much length of the cable should lay.
For copper cable- 2Rx 240 square.mm copper flexible cable is enough.
Load is major constrain for cable laying and distance of cable also play a role.
