distortion means the change in the signal of an amplifier
from i/p to the o/p...or in other words distortion means
unwanted signal's..the amplifier with distortion 0.01% is
better...

the error produced in o/p signal w.r.t i/p signal is called
distortion. So an amplifier which have less distortion is
better. Hence the amplifier having 0.01% distortion is
better than the amplifier having 0.02% distortion
