why phase to phase voltage is 400v while phase to neutral is
220v?
Answer / ajay khandait
Line to Line voltage or Phase to phase voltage is the
common way of representing the voltage. Also called as Line
voltage in Electrical System.
In case of 3 Phase system the Phase voltage (Line to
Neutral Voltage) is {{LINE VOLTAGE/ Root 3}} Therefore the
Single phase voltage is 400/1.732 That is near 230Volts.
