if a damaged 500kva transformer with %impedance 2.6 is
replaced by two transformers of 250Kva with different %
impedance will they be able to catter the load. what will
be the ratio of load on the two transformers if the %
impedance is in the ratio 1:2

Answer / k.prakashchandra
The above is correct. But transformers with same capacity and
voltage having % impedances in the ratio 1:2, is not
believable. The load sharing will be in 2:1 ratio if they are
connected in parallel.

Answer / aamod tripathi
This should not be done ideally (Parallel operation not
permitted) . However the load can be distributed exclusively
and independently on each transformer (Each Transformer
connected to indivisual (incomer) feeder and independent
loads(outgoing))
