In a wye or star connection, the windings of the induction
motor connect from the supply phases to the neutral. In a
delta or mesh connection, the windings connect between the
supply phases.
A wye connection creates higher voltage to the windings of
the three-phase induction motor than a delta connection.

in y connection voltage applied to the motor is less
compared to delta .so current & hence torque is less.
ie,speed is less compared to delta

in star connections one phase is given to each
winding,meanwhile in Delta connections each winding get
double phase.

our company have 750 kva oil transformer.still we have facing a problem that is when voltage is 11.5 kv coming from HT side then LT-side voltage is 420v or above at tape 1.please give me best solution to decrease the voltage.
