In UPS & inverter both are used for made D/C to A/C . In
inverter there is no PWM & we gets only quasi sine
wave .Where as in UPS there are PWM and we gets Sine wave.
For computer & other sofisticated devices required true
Sine wave hence UPS used & for lightning & other less
sofisticated equipments, inverter are used where required
only varing wave form which may not be true sine wave or
have quasi sine wave.

ups means any raw power supply is gone that time time used
for ups inverter is ac/dc function so used directly in
house .inverter capacity low and cost low.
