Linear circuit is the one which obeys the principle of linearity(Homogenity and superposition).examples are circuits which contains Resistors,Capacitors,Inductors and OP-Amps.
On the other hand NON-linear circuits are those which do not obey Linearity principle.examples are DIODES,BJT,MOSFET circuits...
