suppose r=10ohm then in series 10+10=20ohm
& in parallel r=100/20=5ohm.So,connect it in series.

connect both resistance in series and by reduce ambient
temperature. this(reduce temp.) will increase few ohm of
resistance. because when temp increases the conductivity of
resistor increases and vice versa is also vital truth.
