difference bteween neutral grounding resistor and neutral
grounding transformer??
Answer / eduardo
There are three types of neutral grounding. TN, TT and IT.
TN and TT connect directly to earth the star point of the
transformer (neutral). The IT system does not cotenect the
neutral to the ground. (isolating earth (french isolation
terre)). However, some IT systems connect the neutral to the
earth throw a resistor. I do not give you many details but
they are equivalent because both suport just one fault to
the earth.

Dear Sir/Madam, I have one questions we have three steam turbines and one Gas turbine and our industry linked with the public network, we have protection system one of the protection is reverse power we can export just four MW only i would like to ask about how to calculate the reverse power. Thank you in advance best regards
Sparking occur when a load is switched off because the circuit has high – a.) Inductance b.) Capacitance c.) Resistance d.) None
in a solar power plant,we are going to step up the voltage 350V to 33kv, and to 132kv GSS. i want to ask that if it is possible that 315v/33kv is not possible because we also use 315v/11kv. or it should be 415v/33kv? is it effects generation or losses? the second question is-generation is depends on LV winding? or LV winding design for generation voltage?
If 440 V supply has given at the secondary winding of transformer at that time if we apply 11 KV at primery then what will happen???????
