In the six pulse inverter the 3 phase AC rectified in full
wave bridge and we get sixpulses in the output.
Where these two six pulse are connected in series it given
12 pulses in the out put. here the double secondery of
transformer requied the maitain the phase difference of 15
degree (Ddy11).

12-Pulse Inverter is essentially two 6-Pulse Inverters
supplied from transformer secondaries with phase shift. The
secondaries of the supply transformer are commonly chosen
as Star and Delta with a Phase Shift of 30deg. The 12-Pulse
Inverter is preferred over 6-Pulse Inverter due to its
inherent capability of suppressing third harmonic current.
