VCB vacuume cricuit breaker
MCB miniture cricuit breaker
MCCB mulded case circuit breaker

VCB provides at HT sides and ACB are using at LT sides

MCCB are using afer the ACB means its the lowest valve
after ACB

MCB are genarly using for domostic and industrial for 1 and
3 phase protection.


1 st VCB HT sides
2nd ACB LT sides
3rd MCCB in MCC panels
4th MCB in distrabution box

ACB - AIR CIRCUIT BREAKER
MCCB - MOULDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKER
MCB-MINIATURE CIRCUIT BREAKER

VCB IS NORMAY USED IN THE UPSTREAM SIDE i.e.HIGH VOLTAGE
SIDE FOR HIGH CURRENT,THE INSULATING MEDIUM OF THE
SWITCHING CONTACTS IS VACCUM.

ACB IS USED AT THE LOW VOLTAGE SIDE,INSULATING MEDIUM IS
AIR.


MCCB & MCB ARE USED IN THE DISTRIBUTION SIDE
