VFD- Variable Fre. Drive
Normally motor is running in 50 Hz frequency.By using the
VFD we can able to change the frequency. if frquency is
getting reduce means speed of motor also will be reduce. so
we can the save the power

vfd means varriable frequency drive also known as
vsd,inverter,vsvf drive means it is a electronics device
based on volt/hz ratio.
f=N*p/120 means if u will varry the frequency the rpm will
also varry. thus P= 1.73*VI COS PHI IF THE device getting
less current the power also dawn and unit also decrease
hence the power will save

Power consumption is directly proportional to N3 and
speed is directly proportional to Frequency.
If we reduce 2 to 3 Hz also will give good power saving.
