what is soft starter?
what is the difference between soft starter and star delta
starter?
star delta starter : it is a set of electrical equipments used to control the current during the starting of induction motor as the starter operates the motor in star configuration in starting and then in delta configuration.
soft starter : it is a set of electronic components which control the nominal voltage of induction motor in order to control high current and torque during starting resulting in prevention of voltage dips and mechanical stress over the machinery .

simple way to find busbar sizes??
We wish to test 60 Hz systems from a 50 Hz supply. To acheive frequency conversion, we use a VFD. The VFD powers 40 kVA transformer, which has motor and non-motor loads on it. Will the transformer work?
