first all the electrical equipments and grid system in us
is standardized for 60hz,110v.
it has advantage dat for the same rating size of machines
will b reduced but at the same time losses will increase,
climatic conditions in us aloow them to afford that much
heating at 60hz but india's climatic conditions does not
allow 4 dat,n indian machines r as per our standard,,,

If an electrical component has a positive temperature coefficient, how come such components have high power losses due to heat if current decreases when resistance increases? assuming power given by I^2*R whereby the Resistance is infinite.
