This effect is in transmision line. Due to inductence of
the solid cable the all currents will go in outer side of
the cable (skin). To prevent this problem the transmission
cable should be multistrand.

In dc the current density is uniform all over the cable.....
but in ac the indutive relutance in the ineer part is
grater than the outer one,,,
because the inner part is link by outer and inner flux...
so current pass thrugh the surfce or skin....
