Test Director will not support QTP. Only Quality Center 8.2
and above versions will support QTP.

Hi,
You can run a test case in two ways.
1. Just go to test case -> click on "Test Script" tab of the
test case ->Click on QTP icon -> QTP will open -> Just click
on Run.
2. Create a testset and assign the test case to that
testset. Now run the case in testset. It creates a separate
instance of the test, so you can view all the logs of the
earlier test run.
