one more thing is that....as the advertisement says..this
post is for five years and likely to be continued....i
think its ok to join for five years....once the term is
completed we can walk out of the company if its not
satisfying........at the current situation it is atleaset
offering protection for five years...where other companies
like IBM,SATYAM,WIPRO and others are firing with a notice
of not more then 15 days....we will be safe for five
years......and the package is also not that bad...u will
get a max of 20k to 25k in pvt firms....whereas in NIC they
are offering 26k in A class cities ( remember the post are
for both freshers and experieced and they are treating both
at same level and all people will get the same package...so
think as a fresher....26k is a good package for a
fresher).....

i also cheked with few guys working in
IBM,INFY,WIPRO,SATYAM,CTS and TCS(all top firms) and all
getting 23k to 24k on an avg after completing 2 yrs of
service.....there may be a few deviations from this...but
majority of the candidates are getting this......so think
once again....if u can get some very good amount then what
NIC is offering then its worth to take risk....else its
better to join this....after 5 yrs the situation can b in
any of these points i mentioned below :

case 1 :
Posts not continued and u liked the post - You can come out
to the market and search for some other job.( remember u
have work experience of 5 years in a prestigeous govt
organisation so u will not face any difficulties in getting
a job).

Case 2:
Posts not continued and u not satisfied - There is no
question here...jump to open mkt and find other....

Case 3:
Posts continued and u also satisfied - Well and good...no
questions here also.....continue and njoy....

Case 4:
Posts continued and u not satisfied - Think of voluntery
retirement....all govt institutes will provide this
facility...just take voulentry and come to open mkt
again.....



In any of the above cases u have a positive point that u
worked for a firm which is an arm of ministry of IT,which
provides facilities to all government bodies including the
presidents office having a history of 4 decades as a
scientific officer.....
