HTTP(Hypter Text Transfer Protocol)
HTTP commmunicate between web server and web browser.
HTTP is responsible for sending request from a web client
(Browser) to a Web Server and returing web content(Web
Pages) from the server.
HTTPS(Secure Hypter Text Transfer Protocol)
Secure communication between web server & wer browser.
HTTPS handles credit card transactions & other seneitive
data.The default TCP PORT of HTTPS is 443.

HTTp is only send the information in plain text for while
encrypted information flows between webs server and client
in case of HTTPS. HTTPS is more secured and used for secure
websites.

HTTP stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol and HHTPS:
stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure.A https will
have certificate installed when we Host Site on to
Webserver with Authentication this is why it is called as
HTTPS over a Secure Socket Layer.

I am working in a Engg college at Orissa. I am having windows xp OS. We have a linux server in CSE dept. My question is that in client site I want access facebook and torrent sites.
