How can u configure DNS & configuration files..

Answer / deepak kumar

main configuration file for DNS is named.conf which usually
located under /etc/named folder if you have bind (software
for DNS) is installed. daemon name is in.named which starts
the dns service.

You can check this via
#ps -ef |grep named

Also DNS is used as protocol used for name resolution.
