One light light flashes 3 times in a minute and an another
light flases 3 times in 2 minutes.Find the duration after
which both lights will flash same number of times.

question has some doubt. number of flash will be same. it
will not be change. Both will flash together after 40sec

In former case it takes 20seconds for one flash, and in the latter one it takes 40seconds.
So they will flash together at 40th second.

1 light 60 sec = 3 time time cycle is 20 sec
2 light 120 sec = 3 time time cycle is 40 sec
in second flash of first light will co inside with first
flash of second light

00:20,00:40,01:00,01:20,01:40,02:00........
The second light flashes at
00:40,01:20,02:00.........
(These all are co-inside with first
*The second light flashes always with first .
*2nd light flashes = 1/2(1st light flashes).
*total no of times both flashes at same time = total no of
time second light flashes
therefore both flashes same at 00:40,01:20,02:00.........
(equal to 2nd light flashes)

more min(total:2min). second light flashes after 2 min which
is the next one min of first light.
