yes...specially when your company is Product based because
first you develop a Product/Software based on the feedbacks
received from the customer on ur last release and then find
the potential customers who can buy your products.In that
case you can get in touch of your developer and understand
the flow of the module and start designing the Positive and
negative test cases in order to find issues and giving
confidence to the product before release.
