Hi,
I have done my Engg in Mechanical and passed out in 2006.I
have been working with a MNC and on the project for past 14
months. I am going to file my L1. I wanted to know whether
i am eligible or not and if so will my engineering in
mechanical engg will be a constraint in getting visa.

Hi,
branch is not a concern to traell USA.You are aligible to
travell to USA.
Just they will ask some questions about your client and
roles and responsiblities over there for the project.And
how long you will be there....these questions they will
sak..
Just be confident while answering your questions..

As far as I know, you are eligible. Also your Mechnical
Engg is not going to be constraint if you are going for L1
Individual. For L1 Blanket Visas it is sometimes problem.

Being in a proj is not a matter of eligibility. Check
whether u are eligible for the L1 visa type.. guess it is
only for the comp science dept...

Hi, I went for L1B visa interview last week and VO told me that you are qualified but apply for H1 or Indivi L1. and he has written as Not clearly approvable on I129. so if i apply again what is the success rate? and he has not given me any slip and DD return also!!

HI all i have a total work ex of 4 plus years in some of the top IT companies of india. I have a btech in information technology. I was placed from college in 2006. I did my final year in 2006 but because of ill health was unable to give one paper which i gave in session 2007-2008. My Wife is working as Software engineer in one of the leading IT company , she already have approved L1 VISA , her company did not make use of it , we were trying to transfer her to USA directly through her company it does not seem to work , still not confirmed , now i am planning to bring my wife as depenedent(H4) to me , as i am in USA with H1 VISA , we have confusion , my wife not willing to resign until H4 is stamped , my doubt here is ,1. will a company allow to me apply for dependent VISA when she is working in a company ? 2. If they allow to process , if in case H4 is stamped ,she did not resign from job , if her company agrees to send her to USA using the same old company;s L1 , is it valid after getting H4 stamped ?
