it depends on LR licence.In trail version we can use 25
user licence.In trail version controller will work only 10
days.

the max no user depends on the licences of controller

we can connect to database from controller or using
sitescope


for sqlserver u cant directly connect but orcale you u need
to have sitescope.

to buy.
