If the bug is not related to current build or can not be
fixed in this release or bug is not important to fix
immediately then the project manager can set the bug status
as deferred.

A deferred test is done when the functionality which is
under test is missed in SRS document itself.
That particualr Bug is called as deferred bug. And it is
measured by the Return on investment.

differed status is given to the bug when it is detected by
the tester in the last stage of the project and we need
time to fix it but we dont have the time and that bug is
not effecting the current version of the project and the
tester promise the client that it would be fixed in the
next version then that test is called as deffered test and
this status is used by the developer
