AS in formula of period of a simle we see that acceleration
due to gravity is in the denominator of the rooted term so
as going into a deep mine acc due to gravity dicreases the
period would increase.

I would say Shyamal's answer is correct, but given that the
deepest mines are a small fraction of the earth's diameter,
I would say almost nothing would change.
