TestLog is a document which contain all the detail of test.
How many test is executed,how many pased,how many crtical
bug to the system etc.are maintain in the testlog.
When new enhancement come that time test log is
essentional.The high level bug test case should be test
again.
If any point i'm wrong please clarify me......

It depends.
Test log can be a A log file from the APP Server.....a
database server etc. I am working on ETL projects and we
have Session Logs in Informatica which we use to check the
root cause of any defect that is logged.
