Its the advanced version of TD and far better than TD. QC is a management tool
where the complete testing process is managed. developers, managers, testers
etc. whoever involved in project can use QC to know the status of the project.
you can create test plans, run the test cases, file bugs or defects in QC. you can
download automated tests from QTP into QC.

Quality Center is some what simillar to TD, you can say it
as latest version of TD with lots of new features.

TD supports only windows platforms but, QC supports
windows& Linux platforms

In Td there are 4 components but QC contains 6 components
