what is meant by co-immunoprecipitation?..

Answer / Prem Singh Jat

Co-immunoprecipitation (co-IP) is a technique used to detect and isolate the interaction between two or more proteins in a cell extract. It involves the incubation of the cell extract with an antibody against one protein, followed by the addition of protein A or protein G agarose beads conjugated to a secondary antibody. The beads bind to both the primary and secondary antibodies, forming immune complexes that can then be washed and analyzed by SDS-PAGE.
