Test strategy is nothing but how to approach the testing
and what are the rules and regulations to be follwed in the
testing process.
Test plan is nothing but shedule of the testing that means
when to test,what to test,how to test,who to test.

1.Test strategy defines "what is our approach to test that
product/Project" where as the test plan defines "what to
test, how to test when to test and who to test".
2.Test strategy is a company level document where as test
plan is a project level document.

how will you know whether your reported defect rejected?

if there are 10 step in test cases while executing if their is mismatch at step 5 what is status of test case ? pass or fail or anything else? if require tab is not available then what's the status of test case?

Can't we write test plan without any document with us or we definitely require the document for that
