A Geostationary satellite is a satellite which revolves
around the earth with the same speed with which earth
revolves around the sun.
It has many applications.with this we can locate the
mineral resources under the earth,we can find out the
information on the other planets, ....etc.

above the earth which revolves with the same velocity of
earth and having time period same that as earth. it would be
at an height of 36,000km above can u imagine!
