To set up an automatic welcome email for new Exchange Server 2003 users, you can use transport rules. Here's how:n
1. Open Exchange System Manager.
2. Navigate to Organization/Transport Rules/
3. Right-click Transport Rules and select New Rule.
4. Choose Apply rule items based onn - Recipientsn - andn - Created In Last X Days
5. Click Next.
6. Set the number of days (X) to trigger the rule, depending on your preference.
7. Select the checkbox for 'The recipient is inside the organization'
8. Click Next.
9. Choose 'Add recipients to message header or body' as the action you want to perform.n10. Enter your desired welcome email text in the Edit rule dialog box.n11. Click Finish.
