What happens when you travel across the dateline?

What happens when you travel across the dateline?..

Answer / Jagveer Singh

When traveling eastward, you will lose a day. For example, if you leave on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in New York and cross the international date line before reaching Hawaii, upon arrival in Hawaii, it would be Monday at 10:00 AM there. Conversely, when traveling westward, you gain a day.
