Explain the change in outlook client connection behaviour when compared with exchange 2010?..

Answer / Amrit Tete

Outlook client connection behavior has changed significantly from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013. In Exchange 2013, Outlook uses Autodiscover to locate and connect to mailbox servers automatically. It supports both RPC over HTTP (Outlook Anywhere) and MAPI/HTTP protocols. The primary difference is that Outlook Anywhere in Exchange 2013 no longer requires NAT traversal configuration unlike Exchange 2010. Additionally, Exchange Control Panel (ECP) replaces the Exchange Management Console (EMC) for managing mailbox settings.
