LINQ (Language Integrated Query) can be accessed in SharePoint 2010 using the SharePoint Object Model (SOM). To use LINQ, you need to reference System.Xml.Linq and Microsoft.SharePoint.Linq assemblies, then write your queries using Lambda expressions.
