Trade networks expanded, leading to greater economic interaction between different regions. The Aramaic script was introduced during this period, facilitating trade and cultural exchange.nThe Mauryan Empire, established by Chandragupta Maurya in 321 BCE, brought political centralization, standardization of weights and measures, and the expansion of agriculture through irrigation systems. The Kushana Empire, which succeeded the Mauryans, was known for its patronage of Buddhism and the development of a distinctive Indo-Greek art style.
