Explain about the emergence of Islam in Arabia?
Answer / Ravi Ratnakar Choudhary
Islam emerged in Arabia during the 7th century AD, founded by Muhammad, who is considered the last prophet of God in Islamic tradition. The early followers of Islam were primarily from Mecca and Medina, two major cities in Arabia.nnThe spread of Islam can be attributed to several factors: the teachings of the Quran (the holy book of Islam) emphasized monotheism, social justice, and morality, attracting both Arabs and non-Arabs; the military successes of early Muslim armies that expanded the territory under Islamic control; and the missionary work of traders and travelers who spread Islam to distant lands.nnThe unification of Arabia under Islamic rule led to significant cultural and technological advancements, paving the way for the development of the Islamic Golden Age.
