Answer / Ghananand Yadav

Slaves in the United States resisted their enslavement through several means: 'Day-to-day resistance' involved disobedience, laziness, and sabotage; 'runaway slave' movements were organized escapes to freedom or sanctuary communities; 'rebellions' were open acts of defiance, such as the Haitian Revolution (1791–1804), the Nat Turner Rebellion (1831), and the Underground Railroad (18th-19th centuries); and 'spiritual resistance' involved religious practices like voodoo and Christianity that offered hope for liberation.
