I test change password field for a application.But it accept new password same as old password. Is it not a issue??I raise this issue but developer team mark invalid.

Security point of view.its a bug.if project is not need to
secure in such a way then you just keep this bug as a suggestion which will keep you safe side in future.

Its according to the requirements. If their is a condition like that means you have to raise it as a error. Otherwise no problem.
