Give procedure for Separation of dead cells from cultures ?
Answer / Mnaoj Kumar Viyas
Dead cells can be separated from cultures using centrifugation with a discontinuous Percoll gradient. First, the cells are suspended in Percoll solution and layered onto a solution containing higher Percoll concentration. After centrifugation, viable cells remain at the interface while dead cells migrate to the bottom or top layers.
