what is Neurosphere attachment ?

what is Neurosphere attachment ?..

Answer / Priyanka Yadav

Neurosphere attachment refers to the process of attaching neural stem cells or progenitor cells to a substrate after being grown in suspension culture as spheres. After the neurospheres are dissociated into single cells, they can be plated onto tissue culture dishes coated with extracellular matrix proteins such as poly-L-ornithine or laminin. The attached cells can then be grown in medium supplemented with growth factors such as EGF and bFGF to promote differentiation into neurons or glia.
