Give an account of antibodies against pET30c fusion protein ?
Answer / Navneet Chauhan
Antibodies against a pET30c fusion protein can be produced by immunizing animals with the expressed and purified fusion protein. The antigen is typically adsorbed to an adjuvant such as aluminum hydroxide or keyhole limpet hemocyanin to enhance the immune response. After immunization, the serum of the immunized animal can be tested for antibody production using techniques such as ELISA or Western blotting. Antibodies against the fusion protein can then be purified from the immune serum using techniques such as protein A or protein G affinity chromatography.
