Test strategy is a company level document and which says
the approch for testing.the test strategy doc also says
that the scope,business issues,test delivarables,tools
used ,risk analysis etc.where as test plan is document
which says what to test,wen to test ,how to test and who to
test.the test plan document was prepared by the test lead.

TestPlan is controlled document which describes entire
testing process.It includes
Scoping of the test,Test deliverables,Test schedule,Entry
criteria,Exit criteria,Risks and contingencies and also
Test strategy.
Test Strategy or Test Methodolgy is a set of guide lines
that describes test design.

Test Strategy is the part of TestPlan,which covers the hot
to test part,it is nothing but,the appoach to be follwed to

A TEST PLAN is a document prepared based on the Test

Test Strategy describes the approach of testing throughout the STLC. (which includes unit, system, integration and Performance Testing). Test Strategy is a part of Test Plan.
i.e. 80% of High severity defects should be found at first four complete test execution cycle. Is a Test Strategy.

i'm testing the webpage with QTP, in this wabpage i have to choose the CV from the window, but QTP can't recognize the object, so i used the Low LEvel Recording, but every time i run the test, QTP go to halt when it gets to the Recorded part, any solution for that?( except puting delay in the script and manuall selecting, because i've did that)
