I applied for F1 visa for MS in 2006, but my visa got
rejected under 214 b for 6 times due to too many backlogs
in Eng and insufficient funds at US Embassy Chennai India.
For 1st attempt,I missed the communication.I could not
explained the reason for backlogs properly.
For next 3 attempts, they rejected based on my backlogs.
Because they didn’t asked about my bank statement, CA etc.
For last two attempts I convinced with my backlogs as I got
good scores in GRE and TOEFL. But they asked about my Loan,
Bank statement etc and they are not satisfied with
documents.
Now I applied for H1B visa for 2010 quota and got approval
from USCIS. I am going to attending interview at Mumbai on
Dec 02nd 2010.
What should I say, If Visa Officer ask about my past
refusals?

da 4th tym..at hyd us consulate.. nd mine also same reason
1st tym communication.
2nd tym nervous, panic.
3rd tym i culdnt explain her my project.
4th tym he asked me hw many bcklgs nd i said 8 h ask y and i
told da ans..
again he rejectd me..
but i saw another visa officer giving visa for a student
having 20 backlogs...
so wat i think is US visa is pure luck..
so can i know ur ans..

Hi,My husband is approved for H1B visa and he needed to book for interview on September to go in October. He was once rejected B1 visa on March same year but we lost the paper and do not exactly remeber the reason of rejection but we know that it was because there was no enough ties for him in the UK and they were doubtful about if he would come back or not. If we cannot provide them the right reason, will they reject our visa. We have only got the papers which say that his H1B visa is approved.Please reply. Tina
I have done BE in Mechanical and have 2 years 9 months of experience in IT company (completing 3 years in dec). Have been to US on B1 visa March 2010 . I've planned to carry the following documents in my H1B interveiw on sep-18th. HDFC receipt, visa Interview letter, I797, I129, Offer Letter, Client agreement doc, all original certificates, all company offer letter and relieving orders, payslip.
