I applied for F1 visa for MS in 2006, but my visa got
rejected under 214 b for 6 times due to too many backlogs
in Eng and insufficient funds at US Embassy Chennai India.
For 1st attempt,I missed the communication.I could not
explained the reason for backlogs properly.
For next 3 attempts, they rejected based on my backlogs.
Because they didn’t asked about my bank statement, CA etc.
For last two attempts I convinced with my backlogs as I got
good scores in GRE and TOEFL. But they asked about my Loan,
Bank statement etc and they are not satisfied with
documents.
Now I applied for H1B visa for 2010 quota and got approval
from USCIS. I am going to attending interview at Mumbai on
Dec 02nd 2010.
What should I say, If Visa Officer ask about my past
refusals?

da 4th tym..at hyd us consulate.. nd mine also same reason
1st tym communication.
2nd tym nervous, panic.
3rd tym i culdnt explain her my project.
4th tym he asked me hw many bcklgs nd i said 8 h ask y and i
told da ans..
again he rejectd me..
but i saw another visa officer giving visa for a student
having 20 backlogs...
so wat i think is US visa is pure luck..
so can i know ur ans..

Hi, I have got approval notice for 2009 H1b. I haven't appeared yet for Visa interview. 1) has anyone appeared for current year and 2 ) hows response of Consulate 3 ) any opinion when should go to US and Visa Interview.

Hi, I am working for Company X and Company Y, which I will join after Visa approved has already filed my H1 and I need to take an appointment. Now my Company X is planning for my Visa which could be L or H. What I am afraid of is that if I dont join the Company Y for which I may getthe Visa stamped or "Pending for administrative processing" inwhich they may keep my passport. Hi I am working with XYZ company and the employer is appilying for H1B visa.I have lost the tax filed returns form ITR form of 2009-2010 assessment year but I ahev the form 16 where the tax payable amount is zero there .I ahve the cheque which I got 160 Rs as the refund amount .Will it be a hurdle for my H1B visa stamping.

Here is my background: B1/B2 Valid till 2016 Company C Travelled on it L1B valid till 2011 Company B Never Travelled on it H1B Valid Petition till 2011 Company A Not Stamped yet. Going for it. 1. Is there any problem getting H1B stamped as I have not travelled on L1B? 2. Will my L1B cancelled, once H1B got stamped? 3. hi, i got my h1b in april 2006 and worked in usa until 2008. in nov 2008 i returned india and then back in jan 2010 i applied for tourist visa to usa. i got tourist visa approved but my old h1b visa had a stamped saying "cancelled without prejudice". now if i want to reapply for h1b do i fall in quota of 2006 or 2010? please advise at the soonest thanks
